Michael DiDio, born in 1953 and grew up in California from Sacramento to the Los Angeles area. In his teen years he fell in love with the music of Elvis Presley like many others in the late 1950s, 1960s, and early 1970s and told all his girlfriends that their forever song was Love Me Tender.
After a move to Tennessee, he colored his hair jet black, grew sideburns, and many folks referred to him as Elvis D. After being first in line at the Nashville Post Office to purchase twenty-nine cent Elvis Arron Presley commemorative stamps, he was spotted by reporters in his Cadillac convertible instantly became quite famous as an Elvis impersonator in and around Nashville and was a headliner on the Elvis Love Dinner Train that ran for Nashville to Lebanon and was a frequent guest on The Nashville Network cable channel and many other venues in middle Tennessee.
Michael DiDio has lived to fulfill his dreams of performing memories of his favorite singer and entertainer. This book details the many trials and tribulations of Michael’s life with an enjoyable demon-free conclusion.
